Your simple, science-backed guide to timing, daily habits, and what to actually expect in your first 60 days.
First — thank you. Genuinely.
There are a lot of supplements out there, and you chose us. We don't take that lightly.
Now that your pouch is on its way (or already in your kitchen), let's make sure you actually feel the difference you bought them for.
Because here's the truth most supplement brands won't tell you: how you take them matters almost as much as what's in them.
This guide pulls together everything we've learned from research, customer feedback, and our own daily routines — so you can get real results, faster.
The single most important thing
If you only take one thing from this entire guide, take this:
Functional mushrooms work on a build. Not a buzz.
Unlike caffeine, they don't hit you in 20 minutes and leave you crashing by 3pm. They're called adaptogens for a reason — they work with your body's systems gradually, layering effects day after day.
Most people start to notice subtle shifts (clearer head, calmer mornings, steadier energy) somewhere in the first 2–4 weeks. The deeper benefits — sharper focus under pressure, less brain fog, better stress response — usually settle in around the 4–8 week mark.
So consistency beats dosage. Two gummies every day for 60 days will outperform six gummies on the days you remember. We promise.
When should you take Mighty?
The short answer: morning, with breakfast.
Here's the science behind it.
Your blend contains six functional mushrooms, and most of them are at their best in the first half of the day:
-
Lion's Mane (the focus one) — Research suggests Lion's Mane supports nerve growth factor, the protein your brain uses to keep neurons healthy and communicating. You want that working through your day, not while you're asleep.
-
Cordyceps (the energy one) — Cordyceps supports your body's natural ATP production — your cells' energy currency. Taking it in the morning helps fuel that calm, sustained energy through the day, without the jitters or crash of caffeine.
-
Chaga, Maitake, Shiitake (the background trio) — These work quietly in the background — supporting immunity, blood sugar balance, and overall wellness. They're flexible on timing, but happiest taken with food.
-
Reishi (the calm one) — On its own, reishi is best in the evening to support relaxation. But in our blend, it's at a balanced dose that softens the edge of the energising mushrooms — keeping you focused without feeling wired. It will not make you sleepy in the morning.
So: pop two gummies somewhere between waking up and 11am. We aim for breakfast.
With food, or empty stomach?
With food. Almost always.
Three reasons:
-
Better absorption. The fats and other nutrients in food help your body absorb the lipid-soluble compounds in mushroom extracts (like the triterpenes in reishi).
-
Easier on your stomach. Some people get mild nausea from mushroom extracts on an empty stomach. Food acts as a buffer.
-
Habit stacking. Tying Mighty to a meal you already eat is the single highest-impact thing you can do for consistency. Behavioural research calls it "habit stacking" — pairing a new habit to an existing one — and it's the reason most people who succeed with supplements take them at the same time, in the same place, every day.
If breakfast isn't your thing, take them with your morning coffee, a piece of fruit, a smoothie, whatever you usually have. Just avoid taking them on a completely empty stomach if you tend to be sensitive.
Quick answers to the most common questions
What if I miss a day? Don't double up. Just take your normal serving the next day. You won't lose progress — adaptogens are forgiving.
Can I take more than two gummies? We don't recommend it. Two are dosed for efficacy, and more isn't better with mushrooms — your body absorbs what it needs and excretes the rest. You'd just be eating extra (delicious) gummies.
Can I take them with my other supplements or medication? Functional mushrooms are generally well-tolerated alongside vitamins, minerals, and most supplements. If you're on prescribed medication, pregnant, or breastfeeding, please check with your doctor first — we're a wellness brand, not a medical one.
Where should I store them? Somewhere cool and dry. Not the bathroom (humidity), not your car. We like keeping ours on the kitchen counter, or on my desk at the office.
Will they make me drowsy? No. The reishi dose in the blend is balanced for daytime use. If you're particularly sensitive, you can take them slightly later in the morning, but most people feel calmly focused, not sleepy.
How long does a pouch last? 60 gummies = 30 days at two a day. Most customers move to subscription so they never run out — and a missed week sets you back further than you'd think.
One last thing
You didn't buy Mighty to feel "fine." You bought them because something felt off — the brain fog, the burnout, the constant feeling that you should be more present, sharper, calmer than you actually were.
We made these for that.
Stick with it. Take two every morning. Pair them with the basics — water, sleep, movement. Give it 60 days.
Most customers tell us the same thing in the end:
"I didn't realise how foggy I'd been until I cleared up."
We hope you feel that too.
